About  the Michigan Transit Museum

The Michigan Transit Museum was founded in 1973 with the goal of preserving the history of Michigan's railroads and transit systems.  The museum operates out of a historic railroad depot, and operates train rides on a branch line that used to serve an Air National Guard base.
