Locomotive 
​#4040

Manufactured by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in 1951 , #4040 was Rebuilt by the Military in 1992. #4040 was used Selfridge Air Base to move freight and coal cars, As the base was Originally heated by coal. Acquired in 1994, This Locomotive produces 500 horsepower using an Eight Cylinder Diesel Engine and weighs in at 60 tons.

Chicago EL Car #4450

CTA  transit car #4450 was built in 1924 and used for the Chicago elevated rail system until 1974. MTM acquired the car in 1976.

Conrail Caboose #21160

Southshore Car#11

Car #11 was acquired in late 2001 in a Trade for Northshore car # 761 with the East Troy Electric railway in Wisconsin. Built around 1927, she is 76 feet long, Weighs 80 tons and seats 80 passengers.

Locomotive #1807

Manufactured by Alco in 1941 as an S-1 Switcher, the six Cylinder- 9,572 cu in. the diesel engine produces approximately 660 HP which is used to power a 600 volt DC generator to drive the four electric Traction motors. This loco weighs in at 99 tons. MTM purchased #1807 from the Dept. of Defense surplus located at Fort Bragg and it arrived at Selfridge in 1979.

Grand Trunk Western Caboose #77058

Built somewhere between between 1888 and 1905 By the Grand Trunk Railway as an all- wooden Caboose, she was re-built in the mid 1940`s and an all metal frame was placed under her.  #77058 served the GT into the 1970`s. Purchased and then donated to the MTM by a Member.
